MTV’s 2012 VMAs Highlights

So, One Direction had the most screen time, winning three Moon Mans and performed ‘One Thing’ in the show. They won for best new artist, best pop video and the ‘most shareworthy’ video.

Rihanna opened the show performing a mash up of ‘Cockiness’ and ‘We Found Love’. She also lost to Nicki Minaj, but took home the biggest honor later in the show, winning video of the year for ‘We Found Love’.

Lovely Taylor Swift was left out of the moon mans handouts, but she closed the show dancing and singing her new smash hit single ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’ and ended it with a dive into the crowd.
