Long Island Remembers 9/11 On This Unique Memorial

Many people gave their respect at this beach in Point Lookout Beach, Long Island, where 11 years ago they watched the towers burn. The ceremony  had people standing in the sand and giving their prayers to men and women overseas. Residents wrote names and letters to the victims of the attacks on a panorama of the New York skyline. Levittown Fire Commissioner John Rottkamp remembered Fire Chief Ronald Cohen, who also was an FDNY lieutenant.
