iPhone 5 Scratches Up Too Easily?

Apple is known for making not only functional products but beautiful as well. But some users are reporting having their new iPhone 5 for a short period of time and their aluminum is getting scratched up already.

Melissa Jenna Godsey at iFixIt.com posted a video on YouTube that has her 2 year old daughter playing with a set of keys and a new iPhone 5 and creating remarkable scratches and dents. Similar damage on an iPhone 4S revealed very little damage.

As an answer to this, Apple senior vice president answered: “Any aluminum product may scratch or chip with use, exposing its natural silver color, that is normal”.
