How Taylor Swift Got To Change Apple Music Policy

‘Apple Music will not be paying writers, producers, or artists for those three months’, she wrote. ‘Apple’s policy of not paying artists during free trial is shocking and disappointing as it would hurt young artists just starting out.’ She continued.

Apple replied to Taylor late Sunday night, in tweets from Eddy Cue, a key lieutenant of CEO Tim Cook, saying ‘#AppleMusic will pay artsts for streaming, even during customber’s free trial period’, ‘We hear you @TaylorSwift and indie artists. Love, Apple’.

Taylor Swift turned to Twitter to thank Apple and her supporters: ‘I am elated and relieved. Thank you for your words of support today. They listened to us’.
